Back in Switzerland

Hello

since Monday morning I`m back in switzerland! The airplane in Vancouver came 1.5 hours to late and so I hadn`t a connection in London. They put me on a waiting list for a other flight. but 5 hours later, they told me sorry no space. And so I had to stay for one night in the hotel hilton.
Next day i could take the flight on 7.15 am and I landed at 10.00 am in Switzerland. But my packege wasn`t there. The package came two days later.

It is a very special feeling to be home! I was a half year away but if I look back this looks very short!!
I appreciate all what I expirienced very much.

On monday Evaning I went for a dinner with friends from my house church. It is very nice to see my friends again.

If you would like to read about me then I would continue this Blog. Maybe with one letter in the months.

back in Vancouver

Since saturday 1.30 I'm back in Vancouver by my homestay!!
I made a crazy trip last week: 2200 miles (3545 km) with a rental car.

I started on saturday at noon in Billings Montana and drove to Idaho falls in Idaho. This night I slept in the car and on 5 o'clock I continued the drive thru salt lake City and the salt flats in Utah and across Nevada to Reno on the border to California. After Reno I had to buy snow chains for to drive over the dunner pass. For this 1o miles I had maybe 5 hours because there was a snow storm and all cars had to drive so slowly. I made on this day over 800 miles and got sik. I threw up the whole night. The next day I felt really bad and this close to San Francisco. Finally I drove to San Francisco and took picture from the golden gate bridge and unfortunately I hadn't energy to go in the town. So I drove to the highway 1 on the Pacific coast and spent littel bit time on the coast and then I went in a motel to lie down and rest. Next day I drove only little bit because I was still sik, but the next three days I was healthy. I tell you this west coast in California and Oregon is so incredible beautiful with the beaches and the cliffs and the highway the most time close to the coast. On Saturday 12 o'clock i dropped the car off in Seattle Washington and went to a International Hostel and enjoyed the City. Next morning I had breakfast in the hostel and met some guys from Switzerland. Next to us was sitting a Lady and she heard that we speak about Vancouver, so she asked:" have somebody to go to Vancouver, because I drive to Vancouver?" and so I had a ride to Vancouver (hallelujah).

This morning I went to Church here in Vancouver and met the friends from the Church.

Hey I told you a mistake: I said that I come on at saturday 3,15! that's not true! I come on in Zuerich at sunday 6 pm.

Hello together!

I finished me work on the special K Ranch last Weekend. I was very blessed with this stay. Bob hi is 86 Years old, and he is one of the founder of the Yellowstone Ranch. He took a lot time for me. last sunday we made a trip through Montana! I saw sam very nice landscap and nice wild west towns.

through bob I met the "special K Ranch" this is a Ranch for Mental disabled adults. I stay now since Monday on this Ranch and work with this People.

To day is Thanksgiving day. I stay to day with the Family of the Manager of this Ranch. Yesterday evening i went with this Family to their Church in the town Billings. This morning we went to the thanksgiving Football game from the Church and playd football! was very interesting!

On the weekend November 11/12 i went to the Family who I met through the Family from Casper. He made with me a canoe tour in the Yellowstown River. this was pretty fun.

I'm very grateful for all relationship which I have and had on this journey. I feel very blessed. My prayer in Vancouver was that God lead me on me trip and that I meet Families. This came true. and this is so special the Families they like to have me here they are very happy that I stay in their house! Prais God!!!

on Saturday I rent a car in Billings and make a journey for one week to Seatle. then saturday December 2 I wonna take a Ferry or a Bus back to Vancouver Canada, and thaen I stay one week in Vancouver bevore I fly home on Friday the 9th.

In Billings, Montana

I stay now on the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch in billings. I work here in the team of the greenhouse! This Ranch is a huge project with a lot Children and teenager. the most Children live on this Ranch in different lodges. They have here a internal School and any different woking places. A very intresting place is the big ride arena which they do ride therapy. I could watch tree ride Therapy, with each another kid. This was very interesting.

In the Greenhouse the grow different plants ant flowers. but there is momentary not a lot to do, so we work an diferent places on the Ranch. For example we build a play place for childeren.

on this time I worked not alot with the children, but I meet the kids in the dining hall, and one group started to ask me alot questions about switzerland. This group invited me yesterday evenig in their lodge, and we playd chess (Schach).

This afternoon i go in a schoolclass, they wanna ask question. The people here are very kind and friendly. and to have fun is here a very stong point.

I live in the guest house, I have there a owen apartment with livingroom and kitchen and bedroom.

I'm very greatfull for all experience. I feel very much the leading of god. I met on this trip so a lot af nice people.

In Dubois

Hello together! It is a long time ago since my last blogg letter! and it is a lot happend! I staied 1 Monts on the Farm! My work was to cut woot for the winther and a lot of fencing, to fix the fences around the farm! I lerned a lot in this time! I had very cood conversations with this woman on the Farm, and I lerned also a lot through the mental handicapt kid who lives there..

The Farm is close to the town Lander! I went one week ago for a weekend in Casper by a Family. I met this Family through Francoise (the woman on the Farm), and so they invited me for a weekend to come to them. Was pretty fun, we went in good Restaurands, we went in a Museum, on the Mountain and they took me with to a birthday Party from her family. The Man of the Family teacht in a scool close to the Farm, and he life through the week there and he gave me His car (a big chevrole Pick up)for this too days that I can go to the Yellowstone National Park. I went yesterday on the gate of this Park, sadly I couldn't pas because they have there too much Ice and snow on the street. so I went spontaniously through another nice Park with nice lakes and Mountains. For the Night I was in Jackson that is a very nice Cowboy Town.
And now I'm in Dubois that is a small town on the way back to the Farm. I will stay on the Farm until to Friday. After I go to Billings, I can there Perhaps work as volunteer for too weeks on the Yellowstone Girls and Boys Ranch. This is on this time not yet sure because I wrote a application and they give me answer this week. That is a Therapie center for Mental handicapt kids or for kids with a bad past. They have there more than 300 kids through the day. On Friday in 5 weeks, I come back to switherland I arive on Saturday the 10th december. Hey God bless you very mutch, and see you!!

Vancouver Island

Hello together

So I'm back in Vancouver in my Homestey! Tomorrow I'm flying to Riverton!
The journey on the island was pretty nice. We went one night in Victoria and then we drove to Tofino. We had there a lot of fun! We went there in the hot springs and whale watching. We saw grew whales and humpback wahles (Buckelwahle). This was great
:-)! On wensday and thursday morning we went surfing with a man from the Village, he gave us the basic in surfing, and so we had any hours time to try! The water was pretty cold, but we wore wet suits, and so the temperature was ok. The group was getting bigger, becouse we met another girl from Switzerland and a girl from south England in Tofino! On Fridey we split the group, and so I went alone back to Victoria becouse I liked to see the Butchart garden and the British Columbia museum! Finally on Fridey evening back in Victoria I went in the Butchart garden. This is a beautiful place with a lot of flowers. I can say to you, if you like color, so you will like this place :-)! And the most people of you knows wat I feel in refer to color :-)!! Victoria is a small old beautiful city at the ocean. Old in refer of Canada, not in refer of Europe. On saturday morning I went to the BC museum. In this museum is alot about the history of British Columbia, about the Aborigines and the first white people in Canada...Captain Cook and after George Vancouver. Finally after I visited the museum I Vent back to Vancouver. On the Ferri I saw a group of maybe 8 Orcas (Killerwahles), they jumped beside the Ferri out of the water!! this was amazing. I took a lot of photographs with the large lens on my Camera! Hey in December you have to come to me and watch the color slides (Dias)!! So I wish you a very good time and be blessed! I write again after my stay on the Farm!

dSchuelzit isch fertig

Hallo Zaemme! So naechscht Samschtig (in 3 Taeg) wird ich miteme Schuelkolleg uf Victoria reise und doert werde mir, zwoi anderi treffe, wo jetzt scho unterwaegs si.
Mir werde in der Wuche uf dr Vancouver Island reise! Die Insle isch oepe 300 km lang!
Ich freu mi sehr uf Kueschte gebiets mit im offenae Ozean!

Am Samschtig dr 30 September, wird ich retour go zu dr Gaschtfamilie und denn am 2 Oktober wird ich uf Riverton in Yellowstone Nationalpark (USA) fliege. Doert wird ich groesse ordnig ei Monet uf em der Farm haelfe! Ich wird doert kei Zuegang ha Zumene Computer und so wird mi Blogg erscht wider im November gfueteret :-(!!!
Ich freu mi sehr uf die Erlaebnis uf der Farm!

sWetter: isch schoen gsi bis zum letschte Wuchenend, zit am Sunntig heimer Bewoelkt und Regnerisch! Einigi saege dRege Saison heig agfange!! ich hof mir werde no bar schoeni Taeg bim Reise ha!

Was mach ich so: ich ha in de letschte Wuchene nuemme so verrueckti Sprueng gmacht! ich bi eigentlich immer do ummenand gsi! Mol doert go ne Park go Psueche, und doert mol in es Restaurant... ...Was fuer mich sehr spannend isch, isch das ich im letschte Monet do kontakt han mit eme Huuskreis vo dr Church. Und das isch hammer mit luet vo anderne Kulture, vo anderne Laender Gott zLobe und zBaete und ueber dBible diskutiere! Mir persoenlich isch sehr stark ufs Herz cho, de Vers: Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved! Romans 10.13. Ich find in Englisch doent de Vers au grat so super!! vorallem "Whoever" "wer immer"! Gott wird dem haelfe wo zu ihm rueeft.
